1. Edelweiss discovered by the German naturalist.
A naturalist from German named Georg Karl Reinwardt
discovered Edelweiss flowers for the first time. He found them in 1819 on the
slopes of Gede's Mountain.

"Edelweiss".
The
name 'Edelweiss' comes from the German language. 'Edel' means noble and 'Weiss' means white, according to the
colors of
it.
